Designed and expressively created by Marjut Uotila, DUSTY is an avant-garde menswear label known for its presentation of artistic signature pieces without compromising on wearability. For her collections, Marjut works with innovative fabric treatments and patternmaking in order to challenge traditional detailing and tailoring. The locally developed garments are meticulously manufactured in small independent ateliers in surroundings of Lahti, Finland, nearby the DUSTY studio. All exquisite details are finished by hand, alluding to the artistic uniqueness of each individual piece.
In Liike you will find exclusive DUSTY womenswear collection too.
jaanahaaksiluoto is an independent fashion label which fuses minimalist and simplified style with detailed finishings in order to create edgy yet wearable woman's wear and accessories. Pieces have an alternative style with an individual appeal as opposed to the anonymity of the mass produced and strictly seasonal pieces.
The label has a strong Finnish identity. Emphasis is put on sustainability, good craftsmanship and high quality materials. Collections are manufactured in small batches in Finland an in the neighbouring Estonia. The production is planned so that the textile surplus will remain as low as possible and used, when possible, for the next designs.
Nature has been the starting point of Marita's designs, for both inspiration and as a source for materials. It is a relationship of respect and co-operation. It is important to recognize the heritage we yield from, yet to live knowingly in the modern cosmopolitan world.
The mood of the Marita Huurinainen collections is strongly influenced by the spirit of Finland, its nature and its people. It combines light and colourful moods, but it can also be dark and mystic.
Marita's philosophy is that one should not create anything wasteful into this world. The designs have to be lasting in both their style and material, so that they may remain in use for several years, a lifetime and more in the best case. For Marita designing is process both of the mind and the hands, thus giving a personal touch to each item.
Marita Huurinainen is known for its Wave shoe concept (wooden design shoes where the heel is bent like a wave) and for pioneering the wild ethical fur concept - using only wild Finnish fur of animals that had to be hunted in order to maintain a balanced eco system and whose skins would otherwise be thrown away as waste.

Since launching in 2011, Helsinki-based shoe designer Terhi Pölkki has established her own shoe brand after graduating from Cordwainers at London College of Fashion in 2008. Terhi Pölkki’s style sums up the brand’s coveted aesthetic of minimalist luxury with a tough edge. The different surface structures combine matt and shiny materials. The end result is a collection of layered uppers with hand-stitched details.
In 2014, Terhi Pölkki received the prestigious Best Accessory Designer award from ELLE Finland. Other honours include winning of Taito-Finlandia 2016 and The Young Shoe Designer of the Year 2008 in Finland.
In response to the growing urban existence, Terhi Pölkki emphasizes craftsmanship, timelessness and environmental consciousness in her work. Terhi chooses to reinvent design rather than constantly producing new items. All shoes are crafted out of high-quality and chrome-free leather materials. Terhi’s designs are carving out a new definition of sustainable luxury, refined craft. Our shoes are manufactured within the European Union and the experienced factories in Portugal offer good work conditions for employees along with quality of craftsmanship. The shoe collection is made locally in a small, family-run factory in Sao Joao da Madeira, Portugal, using locally sourced components and vegetable tanned leather. Operating in a sustainable manner is an important principle for Terhi Pölkki’s brand. The collection is made within a context that respects people and the environment.
